1. Legal Notice

In this Terms and Conditions, all products offered on NaijaPress are developed by third-party developers and redistributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
NaijaPress is not affiliated, endorsed, or sponsored by original developers or trademark holders, including but not limited to WordPress®, Automattic®, WooCommerce®, or any listed authors.

Mentions of names like WordPress® or WooCommerce® are for identification purposes only and do not imply endorsement.

2. GPL Licensing

All products on this site are licensed under the GPL, meaning:

  • You may use them on unlimited websites.
  • You can freely modify the code.
  • You won’t receive direct developer services (e.g., support, license keys, or auto-updates from the original developers).
  • You must comply with the GPL terms when using redistributed products.

3. Product Access & Usage

  • Purchases provide access to download the product as offered.
  • Subscription plans are subject to fair usage (up to 30 downloads per day).
  • All files are verified and scanned for security before upload.
  • Updates are available during your subscription period.
  • We may provide our own update plugin for distributing updates this does not grant official developer licenses.

4. Product Limitations

Our GPL products do not include:

  • Developer support or ticketing systems.
  • API-based templates, demo imports, or features requiring license keys.
  • Plugin activation for premium services.
  • Cloud-based services connected to developer license servers.

For such features, please purchase directly from the developer.

5. Account & Security

  • You are responsible for your account or website security.
  • Sharing your account or login details may result in suspension or termination.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit daily downloads (fair usage policy).
  • Suspend accounts for abuse or policy violations.
  • Terminate accounts for unauthorized redistribution or GPL misuse.

6. Pricing, Renewals & Subscriptions

  • Prices may change anytime without prior notice.
  • Products may be added or removed at our discretion.
  • Subscriptions offer access to product, downloads and updates for their duration. When your subscription expires, you lose access to new updated file. You can renew to access the updated file or repurchase the newly updated file
  • Upon expiry, you retain access to previously downloaded files, but updates stop.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund guarantee only in these cases:

  • Corrupted or undownloadable file.
  • Failed support resolution attempt from NaijaPress.
  • We tried to resolve it from our end and it did’nt still work.

Refunds are not granted for:

  • Missing developer support.
  • Features requiring external license keys (Cloud Services or files connected to cloud libraries)
  • Buyer’s remorse or mistaken orders.
  • Products that were successfully downloaded. Read more about refund policy here

To request a refund, email: info@naijapress.brights.com.ng with your order number and reason.

8. Prohibited Actions

You must NOT:

  • Resell or share NaijaPress products or use it to populate your own GPL Library.
  • Use bots or automated tools to download products.
  • Bypass or tamper with download restrictions or licensing tools.
  • Misuse our brand or website for unlawful or misleading purposes.

Violations may result in account termination without refund.

9. Communication & Marketing Consent (GDPR)

By signing up or purchasing from us, you agree to receive:

  • Transactional emails (e.g., order confirmations, license details etc).
  • Product update notifications.
  • Marketing emails related to your purchases

You can opt out of marketing emails anytime via the unsubscribe link, but transactional emails cannot be opted out of.

We respect your data privacy and process your information in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
